We usually go every year, but I wasn’t as excited about this one simply because I thought the game was going to be a blowout. Well, that shows you how much I know. The game turned out to be closer than we expected, and the New York Giants actually pulled out a last minute win over the unbeaten New England Patriots. When the final whistle blew, my buddy Jamie and I literally sat and stared at each other in disbelief.

The worst thing about the Super Bowl is it means the end of football season. Now we’ve got to wait till the Fall so we can start all over again. Maybe if I get lucky I can beat Jackie in fantasy football next season. Of course, she’s won two years in a row so that’s not likely either. Then again – the Giants did win the Super Bowl – so anything’s possible.
