Jackie and I packed up Addison and headed to see Mom, Dad, Paul, Tara and Ashlyn this past weekend. We always love getting the girls together and getting to spend some time with our family. Here are some pics we took of the girls.
A few weeks ago we took Addison to get earrings. Jackie thought it better to do it early on before she started pulling at her ears and so she would never remember having it done. Apparently she had her ears pierced when she was around 2 years old, and they stayed infected due to her [...]
Addison has figured out how to kick her leg and make her seat bounce, and my brother, Paul, managed to catch her on video. And then, of course, he had to put music to the video. Watch her go! Rawhide!
Addison is developing so fast, and she’s getting really ticklish. In this video, Jackie watches while I make Addison giggle and squeal.
Heroes is just not as good any more. I’m gonna have to find a new show to watch when Jackie’s working at home.
OK, it’s actually not rice but more like some form of really runny grits, but it is the first time she’s eaten something from a spoon instead of a bottle. Needless to say, I got more of it ON her than IN her.
Jackie has wanted to see the Killers in concert for a long time now. I was able to get ahold of some tickets on stubhub.com for their show in Nashville on Jan 31 at the Grand Ole Opry.
I decided to surprise Jackie with the trip, and I originally planned to load her in the car [...]
Addison is starting to hold things really well and of course attempting to stuff them in her mouth. I recorded her working her rattle over. Pretty funny stuff.
We bought one of those talking Elmo toys for Addison since we’ve found she seems to love the television show. Check her out while she stares at all Elmo’s antics.
…except when she’s in front of a video camera apparently!
