Baby Mockingbirds

We have two baby mockingbirds that are hopping around our back yard. I’m not sure where the nest is, but I took pictures of the babies and their mom guarding over them. She even tried to dive bomb me when I went outside to fire up our grill!

Well, Addison’s 9 1/2 months old now and crawling around everywhere. She’s graduated to sippy cups and solid snack foods like cheerios. And her personality grows more and more every day. Here’s a few pictures Jackie took of her in my office a few days ago.

We spent the weekend with Mom and Dad to celebrate their 40th anniversary. 40 years of marriage is an unbelievable milestone and something that is really rare. Jackie and I really enjoyed getting to visit during such a special event.
